Break the Law
It seems like the droplets were going against the Law of Gravity for this photo. I have to admit but i cheated but inverting the actual shot to get this final piece. So much for stretching my creativity!
School is getting crazy lately, and to be honest, being the pioneer batch of anything do have some flaws in it which might hurt you pretty badly!

Colgate Initimacy

Well when hardcore photographers bought their expensive 1:1 macro lenses, they'll definitely use it to shoot exotic insects or up-close flower shots. But considering that i also bought one, i haven't shot any of the above mentioned genres. Who knew i would end up shooting common household amenities. Would someone at least motivate me to go out into the wilderness to explore my options?

Swede Fetish
I always thought IKEA made good furniture and have a good architecture sense, but who knew they also know how to introduce good Swedish bite-size goodies. These biscuits were actually on sale and i'm telling you, i'm glad my Dad bought those biscuits!
(Anyways, school is starting tomorrow! Seriously, i didn't expect NOT to enjoy my last year in NP considering how much workload/stress i'm going through but i hope that mid-year trip to Australia will keep me relaxed and yes more photos to post here as well. HEHE)

Oxymoron
Can you imagine that even though you have an umbrella with you, you still can get drenched and soaked? Sometimes i wonder why no one actually pointed this out and invented something to keep us dry in rainy seasons. I still think Raincoats are much better but who uses them now? (Well except for a few)
Technical Aspect (For the photography junkies) :
I'm really loving my SB-600, i bounced it straight up to the ceiling and the umbrella i used (which is slightly translucent ) diffused the light and lit up my face nicely.
I experimented with some textures, and i've added one texture which i found from Flickr. I think it matches well with this photo.
Exif data: 31mm | F4 | 1/25s | Flash power: 1/4 -0.7 | With some added ambient lighting
Something you might want to know:
- I passed my driving test! 16 demerit points (18 to pass)
- I bought a Lowepro Fastpack 350
- My camera got a new buddy: Tamron 90mm 1:1 Macro

Cars, Bags & Lenses
Just a little quick update about what's going on (If you're the nosey type).
- Driving test's tomorrow (13/6/08)! Before i can even dream about getting a Peugeot, i have to overcome one last huddle to be at least a qualified driver. However, i still have no idea if i would pass or not especially with the All-time-scary-eerie-feeling of the Tester, who knows what will my nerves will do to me
- If i do fail (and i hope i don't), there's at least something to look forward to. I'm moving on to the next phase of upgrade to my photography collection:
- A new notebook-camera-miscellaneous backpack, a big one i think
- A new lens! Probably the Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro 1:1
Well that's all for today, wish me luck!

Extreme Makeover

Just like this dude's new hair-do, SMANImagery may also get the chance for a new makeover. It's really tough trying to manage a single post layout and sometimes when i feel like ranting for no good reason, i've to decide if i should add a photo or not.
So if anyone still visits this blog, just hang in there for a few more days. I hope for the better of this blog. :D
